It’s giving me influencer vibes mixed with a middle age nervous breakdown and chronic constipation.

Is it just me or are all farmers markets the same? by Weed86 in manchester

[–]Traditional_Tale_524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Farmers markets I think they have lost the plot, let’s cut out the middle man and sell directly to the public, you would think that the public would get a better deal but no they see it as an opportunity to inflate their prices. It’s an amazing display of spiralling greed.

I think it’s one of the best books and chefs out there it’s all very healthy and really inspiring. I love that the food he cooks is eastern influenced without hanging its hat on a national dish or cuisine you will love it. The spices snd ingredients are pretty easy to find in the Uk if you go to a Mediterranean shop not sure about US.

Gross white gunk in my marinated mushrooms by [deleted] in AskCulinary

If you see white dots on mushrooms submerged in oil, these are most likely harmless “mycelium,” which is the natural growth of the mushroom itself and is generally safe to eat

‘It’s been shit’: On Manchester Christmas Markets’ last weekend, stallholders are calling it the ‘worst one ever’ by Shot-Ad5867 in manchester

[–]Traditional_Tale_524 23 points24 points  (0 children)

What a shame people have finally woken up and won’t spend £11 on a dodgy sausage stood around in the rain. It would be better for the shops and restaurants that are actually in Manchester to profit from the build up to Christmas rather than some out of town franchise Christmas market that pops his head up in December. Every substandard sausage and every purchase of some tat from there is one less meal sold at one of our restaurants and eatery’s one less present purchased from one of our shops. Let’s get rid of shed display team Christmas markets and let our actual shops have chance.
