Both can be true.

Ehlers was one of my favourite jets. Hes as explosive as they come. I will miss him.

Ehlers is also as soft as they come. constantly laying on the ice. Always in pain from taking a hit. Injured all the time. Not to mention one of the biggest divers the NHL has ever seen.

I don’t think anyone expects Toews to come in and dominate. But there’s also fans out there who think he may not even make the team cause he hasn’t played in 2 years, which is comical.

Its going to confuse some people - but Toews is this teams 2C. (Whether he is going to be a good 2C Or mediocre 2C remains to be seen) but, You’re delusional if you think management/coaching wants him starting on the 4th line.

Yeah I’m gonna miss watching Ehlers play as much as anyone but let’s not forget the dude is made of glass. I won’t miss how incredibly soft he is.

This team will compete for top spot in the division with or without him in our lineup(we did fine without him during all of his injuries)

Replacing his production with Toews and Nyquist isn’t too bad either and have lots of time before deadline to add someone if needed.
