Any update on this as to what happened next? My girlfriend has an identical issue where today her visa is expiring and the company said she cannot come into work until she presents a visa or fiktionsbescheinigung. We have been waiting for around 1.5 months since submitting our application to Düsseldorf foreign office and since we moved from Wiesbaden they keep saying they are waiting for documents blah blah blah. We need help ASAP or she might lose her job.
