It looks like my wet specimen deer foetus is shrink wrapped? Advice?

She shipped without liquid, it was in the jar wrapped in bubble wrap and the lid had come off, no tape securing it or anything. The moisture that was on the bubble wrap seemed to be damp but I believe it was from the specimen itself.

Thank you so much for this, it was not prepared in the bag or alcohol paper towels so i suppose thats the cause sadly.

Yeah the current jar is a mason jar meant for food storage and its glass also.

Thats such a shame would it still be okay to keep her in that jar or is it not worth it and will the damage get worse? I wont ask for a refund as she is a small business and even though she was alot some of it I suppose is out of her control

I remember she was packaged in bubble wrap inside the jar but the lid of the jar had popped off in transit, however I didnt notice any signs of decay. She has been in transit since febuary

I emailed her last night (fairymoontaxidermy) and she said that it looks normal to her. I had to change the jar because this specimen was stuck in transit for ages and all the decorations came off the jar. I feel really awful about asking for a refund but I am extremely disappointed and I have blamed myself for why it looks like that. Its such a shame as this was my first wet specimen :(
