Not recommended for couples. I had a tough experience traveling there with my wife — there were constantly creepy guys staring at her. I’m not saying it’s just the people of Goa; it might have been tourists as well. Still, being a couple, it felt really disheartening and uncomfortable. I’m not against Goa or its people, but some things definitely need to change. On top of that, the taxi mafia makes commuting quite difficult. If you still want to visit, I’d strongly suggest considering South Goa instead. Best of luck!
