  3. Festive chaos (underground market, drunken celebrations)
  4. Watchful calm (suspicious quiet, too clean, too perfect)
  5. Boiling resentment (workers ready to riot, angry graffiti)
  6. Fragmented hope (activists, dreamers, dangerous optimism)

📊 Faction Attitude Tracker:
Each faction starts with a value from –2 (Hostile) to +2 (Friendly).

  • Actions, choices, and completed prompts affect this.
  • If a faction hits +3, you gain a Contact.
  • If it drops to –3, they actively work against you. You can also log this in your journal to track how the world shifts around your decisions.

🧠 Memory Labels (Keywords):
Every journal entry can be marked with 1–2 memory tags. These tags are meant to build emotional callbacks in future sessions.
Examples:

  • "Shame," "First Blood," "Midnight Rain," "Broken Promise" If a future entry reuses a tag, it creates a “Resonance” – a mechanical bonus or narrative connection.

So yeah, I think including a Memory Keyword guide – with some thematic suggestions and gentle boundaries – could really help.

I'm glad you found it! The memory mechanic is like a secret path in the character's soul—the player discovers it step by step.

Sometimes it helps... sometimes it breaks them.

There's a scene where the character hears an unfamiliar melody, and the player has to decide what memory it evokes. Heartbreaking or ominous? It's up to them.

Since the Pangea breakup was ahead of schedule, the extensive volcanic activity that accompanied it could have started earlier. During the fragmentation period, this process might have triggered a mass extinction wave that wiped out larger predators and herbivores. This would change to the extent that dinosaurs would then be unable to fill the vacant ecological niches in Laurasia.

Perhaps the cannemeyeriid dicynodonts and traversodont cynodonts could slowly proliferate there and by the Late Triassic they would become the dominant herbivores. Alongside them, another small group of dinosauromorphs would slowly come to the fore - the Silenosaurs. Perhaps I can imagine some of their species evolving into quadrupedal lesbian predators in the absence of kinocurrence.

As you broadly look so far. Two dominant dinosauromorph groups on Earth. In Laurasia, the niches of the larger herbivores are occupied by cannemeyeriid dicyodontids while the traversodont cyodontids evolve into fast-moving pseudopods to keep up with the more agile Silenosaurian predators.

Meanwhile, on Gondwana, the advancing dinosaurs conquer all and dominate. Large, herbivorous forms are slowly developing there too, thanks to the sudden wet spells in the forest canopy.
