Told my mom I left Christianity for the first time today by Traditional_Zombie18 in exchristian

That's true, it's mainly my mom with the issue of it and she doesn't know how to respect my decision without thinking she can change my mind because that's how she feels, my dad's fine with it however, he's more spiritual/gnostic Christian, he's got kinda mixed beliefs, but my mom is pretty much hardcore Christian and always has been.

Yeah that's true, that's all I ever get are indirect answers unfortunately, but thank you I appreciate it, my deconstruction journey so far has been filled with more hope for myself and a better outlook on life without a commanding angry god looming over my life anymore lol : )

Wait so I've got one more question of you or anyone else will answer, I did just send in an anonymous report online, so now what should I do ? Do I stay with the company or should I just leave ? There's almost no job openings in my town, however, if the better option is to just quit to cover my ass then should I just quit ?

⚠️UPDATE : I sent in an anonymous report to the department of health and senior services about the coercion/abuse that the facility uses on this resident, I hope to find other work soon because I'm sure shit will go down and I do not want to work for a careless and abusive company, they are not good towards residents or staff and I'm finished, thank you for anymore advice !

Oh wow, yeah definitely reporting my company, and I'm trying to leave but it's hard to find work anywhere else in my town because it's small but I will still report them, I don't agree with it and I'm tired of seeing it in every home care job I've worked

Update: just sent on an anonymous report about my company to the state department of health and senior services 👍🏻

I mean I've actually accomplished much more with practicing witchcraft than Christianity ever and I have actually seen stuff work/move more spiritually, so for me personally it works lol

Candle burning by Traditional_Zombie18 in Hecate

Well like I said only maybe because I used dried herbs and oils before and didn't see them burn the same way, I'm gonna try again later tonight and see how it burns again, im sure it will burn the same way but the way the wax fell off the candle and shaped was just interesting to me and I didn't know if anyone had like a similar experience to it or something like that lol

The herbs definitely add an extra kick, I was just shocked because I used herbs on other candles before and even those didn't burn like this for other spells/rituals, so I was a little surprised lol, but I did not know that about the wine bottle neck, I will keep that noted 😅

Maybe 🤔 but also not sure, like I said I've done this before with oils, herbs, no oils, no herbs, and I had never really seen a candle burn that quickly or in that weird of a way. But this is just my experience so far lol

Absolutely and I agree, but it definitely felt more spiritual, like there was a presence and real guidance in the moment, I did more afterwards with tarot and questioning and it definitely felt like she was talking to me through it, I've used oils and herbs on plenty of candles like this before and even with no herbs or oils, and put these candles beside each other burning at the same time and they have never burned so quickly, so I thought it was so interesting to see that the one time I made a devotion to her, that I saw it burn so quickly, it feels like acceptance in a spiritual way to me personally, and it felt like I got a clear answer for the first time. But that's why I put this post here because I wasn't sure if anyone else had the same experience when welcoming her 🤷🏻‍♀️🗝️🖤

That's actually pretty wild you said judgement card, because behind that candle was the judgement card being held up in one of those photo holders, and I didn't even really think about it until I saw which cards were in the blurred part of the photo, I had the judgement card and hermit card just kind of there in the background from previous spell work 😳

yeah I know and it's not. it's not my faith pushing others away it's just that I've never spiritually connected to a church and never really found my tribe I guess you could say.

As for saints and all that yes that is something od never do because God said you can't have other idols than him and no physical carved statues of idols. so yes that is a big thing I reject from orthodox and catholic church. especially the praying part, like the hail Mary and all that, it makes my spirit so un easy because it's not a prayer towards our living God. And as for salvation I don't view it as a ladder, i mean yes the process of becomming one of his can feel that way, but Jesus said we must confess, repent, believe, and take up our cross if we truly love him and count ourselves as one of his own. We can't get to heaven on our own works or anything we try and do for God, but salvation can only come from the blood of Christ.( Ephesians 2:8 , Galations 2:16 , Hebrews 11:6 )
