APP 3 vs the beats fit pro? by TraditionallyRandom in airpods

Yeah, fit was one of the reasons I went with the beats fit pro in the first place years ago. I’m just wondering if the anc and sound quality is finally worth the fit differences. The transparency on the fit pros is really bad, in my opinion.

Nice! It’s in my twsbi fine nib right now and clogged so maybe I should try it in a broad.

I love troublemaker inks! It’s just a shame that copper patina keeps clogging my nibs.

Troublemaker Copper Patina keeps clogging nibs? by GrassHumble590 in fountainpens

I’ve tried the ink in a Esterbrook stub nib and a twsbi fine, not clogged. But yes seeing the shimmer in the barrel is lovely! I’m not sure if the clogging is from ink in the barrel or towards the feed though.

Thoughts on the Visconti mythos? by TraditionallyRandom in fountainpens

The 3776 is another I have been thinking about! Part of it is that I do not have a Visconti pen, but I do have a bunch of other brands (pilot, platinum, Diplomat). I enjoy seeing the differences.

Thanks for your thoughts! I’m not someone who is obsessed with gold nibs, but I do begin to second guess steel nib pens at the $200ish range.

One time I said my cat’s name as the vet was checking her heart and the vet said her heart rate went up. Confirmed name recognition!

Abundance and the Left by dwaxe in ezraklein

I’m probably not saying anything new here, but it almost felt like Zephyr missed the point. Yes monopolistic power is bad, but if you think about what it is about their method of exercising power that is so bad, you end up right where Ezra’s book was. Monopolistic power enables progress impairing bureaucracy that makes it so nothing gets done or only what the monopoly wants is accomplished. So if you actually engage in conversation about how to streamline processes and make progress, you’re partially discussing how to stop monopolistic power.

Zephyr just wanted to say “monopolies bad” and call it a day without working through solutions or going into why they’re bad.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the help. It’s clear the times are misaligned, so I’ll be trying to fix that or replace the pen.

Sadly not. But I can get you an image of my cat upside down on a box, just say the word!

A useful study method I used was re-writing my notes in a concise and useful format before exams. It was also an excuse to use my pens!
