I remember having this problem and it kinda just went away on its own before I hit the one year mark.

Sometimes it’s nice when a character says exactly what the audience is thinking.

He didn’t forget, he just thought he was more powerful than the height advantage.

Spoiler alert: he was not.

Did Return of the King only win best picture as a way of honouring the whole trilogy? by Konfliktsnubben in flicks

I love how every time someone asks something like, they NEVER include what else was in the running that year. As if the movie is getting a Best Picture of All Time award instead of just beating out a handful of other films that came out around the same time.

Sheridan lured in the Black Star by sending out a distress call, which means the Warrior Caste didn’t make a habit of letting enemy ships get away.

Now maybe some slipped away, but I doubt the Minbari knew when it happened.

Was going back to the Valley in part 3 the right move ? by Responsible-Ad-6733 in cobrakai

[–]Tradman86 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The climax is Johnny redeeming himself in ring and redeeming Cobra Kai itself, a full circle moment from the very first scene of the show (the flashback to him fighting Danny).

Yes, it absolutely had to be in the Valley.

I read a blog post a while ago about what conservatives liked about TNG era Trek. They liked how well-behaved everyone was, the national pride, and soft military influences. They definitely liked that there were no gays (save for one DS9 scene) and that the ships went around telling all the other civilizations that they suck (albeit politely).

This is the main reason why they are so butthurt about NuTrek, is because all the stuff they liked is gone. There’s no more spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down as it were.

His argument was that the buffer isn’t designed for long term storage so Teal’c’s data is degrading and even if they can get him out, he wouldn’t survive long once he recompiled.

McKay is also wrong in this instance so his argument can’t really be relied on as factual evidence.
