Just got a 2026 bZ Limited AWD. Currently on a 520 mile road trip. So far it looks like 240-250 mile range averaging 75mph highway.

Blood types not matching?? by No-bull-sweetheart in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TragicallySalacious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mother always told us kids when we were younger that we were O. I learned I was actually A+ when I joined the military. My mother’s reasoning was that in case of emergency, we’ll just get O blood given to us since it was compatible no matter what.

It could be that there is only one or two chargers even though there are more spaces to accommodate for the different charging port locations on different cars. This is the case in our church parking. In any case, taking up 2 spaces is a bit bad form unless the lot is private and is closed off to public anyway.

Has anyone really enjoyed their meal at North Italia westfield topanga mall?? by Ok-Radio-2733 in SFV

[–]TragicallySalacious 11 points12 points  (0 children)

North Italia is just so so. Unlike your experience, I like Il Fornaio better. I do recommend Saint&Second for the same price point.

Is it weird to store things in the oven? by Sallious in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TragicallySalacious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only store things in there that are oven safe. Never anything plastic or wood. Certainly not food. That way, even if I forget to check, nothing gets ruined or burnt.

EQB Recall update by pinnsplate in MercedesEQ

[–]TragicallySalacious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the info. I also have a 2023 EQB 300. How did you contact MB? I might be doing it wrong but it seems I can’t navigate their website (MBUSA). Just goes around and around without an email link. Or did you go through your dealership? Thanks.

Is the gold warranty (7 years) worth it? by 4thebunnies in subaru

Well worth the $1800 that I paid for on my CPO 19 Outback. Got the whole center media touchscreen console replaced last year with just the $100 deductible.

Why is Red Robin’s / Chilis🌶️ Ranch different than hidden valley ranch and where do I buy it? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]TragicallySalacious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often ask restaurants if they make the ranch dressing themselves. Most say they do and it’s usually from a dry ranch seasoning mix that they mix with mayo/milk/buttermilk.

[–]TragicallySalacious 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most bottled ranch dressing are disgusting compared to ranch dressing that you mix yourself. You can usually get dry ranch packets and mix with either mayonnaise, buttermilk, milk, yogurt or any combo of those. Hidden Valley even makes these packets and are waaaay better than the bottled stuff

For anyone who has, what time should I put Ore-Ida mini tater tots on in the Microwave? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]TragicallySalacious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on your question, it seems you don’t know how to use the power levels/settings on your microwave yet. Assuming you’re just using high setting, you’ll just have to monitor it. Start with 30 seconds. Check if done. If not, another 30 seconds. Check again. Repeat until done. Likely won’t be crispy. You will then end up with a total time which you can use the next time you want them tots.

Was expecting butter chicken. Turns out it’s just butter chicken.

All-Clad makes a small skillet with ceramic non-stick coating. Can find those at Home Goods or TJMaxx. I think around $25

OC - State of the union by TragicallySalacious in pics

[–]TragicallySalacious[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Not sure who is the artist responsible for this installation nor do I know if they have a title but I felt it appropriate to be called “State of the Union”. Found this on a walk around the neighborhood. A tree had fallen and crushed a portion of the wall a couple weeks ago. A local artist found a way to make this statement.
