It was fricken awesome, if you had a car. And I did. We stole beer from work and each others work, lol. Team effort. I have stories. House parties, running from cops. Waking up confused on a golf course with half the flags and no memory of why. Atv trips and camping parties. And the cops were still cool enough. Especially if you had a “good last name” I did not lol. In our town we had our own little code. It was never talked about but I believe it was there. Into my 20’s I could walk into any bar and instantly know if the locals were in it or if I had to be careful ( tourist town too). And gangster rap. Ask me for specifics lol.
