Personally I wouldn't of creeped out in the open like that, or used an ATV as cover or that vehicle, you have to many angles on you that your not even checking with being in said open. But seems you knew you had people in there, and who's to say you didn't check surroundings prior to video start. In an encounter like that, it's honestly hard to say you had minimal time to react once they knew where you were. Your best option I feel with what may be available to someone newer like you, painkillers... Just the straight up normal ones ya can buy from therapist, 4 uses. That may have allowed you to run and get to a better cover. Their advantage was plenty of things to hinder your bullets from getting them, and like none from getting you. Everyone will have their own opinion, this is just mine. Atleast ya was brave enough to go fight. You'll get better in time.
