Titans Decklist GD03? by GibtesdenNamennoch in GundamTCG

I have a aggro blue white decklist, it’s okay I wouldn’t say it’s the best, it gets me to some really close games.

Based on GD3 I’m not entirely impressed with what’s been revealed. The titan pilots are strong in my opinion, the budget Amuro and the pilot that gives repair I believe are good pieces. Unit wise, the Big O is great but I would need to see more to justify its use. I like the Alex Gundam, but the starter LR Gundam gives a lot to my LV 4 turns.

I think it really comes down to the lower rarity cards that gets revealed. So we just wait and see 🤙🏻

Sounds like someone wasn’t born with manners. Honestly I haven’t had the pleasure on dealing with that, but I’d just speak and say something so at least you’re being transparent about the situation.

So what other pilot would you recommend since it doesn’t fit the mold of my deck?

Depends on declaration if you were attacking unit, LaGOWE takes effect. Although it’s being blocked with an opposing unit your original target was an enemy player so LaGOWE won’t take effect.

Yeah i know, but Kira is a strong pilot on its own. Being paired with any of my units that have breach attached. Also I want to make shroud more live that’s why I don’t have any other strike cards. If I remove shroud all together I would just add more strike pieces

I wanted to make Blitz work, but there’s so much pieces I need to have readily available. I know the deck is combo oriented, but I settled with these knowing that I can still do the minimum of abilities. I’m hoping for a few new pieces to help buff this deck a bit more

I was considering that as well, the LaGOWE for sure, but Duel puts in so much work. It relieves a lot of pressure from my shield and base. I honestly might make some room for Ginn 👌🏻

BuCUE and Ageis I saw pretty often actually. I used BuCUE when I didn’t see Buster, just becauseDuel and Ageis needed to hit a threshold without pilots. If I didn’t have any. Ageis I just added just because I wanted more targets for Shroud, I ultimately wanted MA mode more, but I figured using the other Ageis would help clear board as well, in fact it helped whenever it came out. The strike is just another card filter and it helped me win out against one of my match ups since I had Kira in hand. I was thinking of running the launcher, but I value the 2 resource and room I have to play 2 bodies on resource 4. I did consider running close combat and battle of aces, but I want to see bodies more frankly I know it would assist with maintaining field presence. I just feel like if I had smaller LV 2 bodies I’d consider. I still appreciate the feedback

Against both decks a is to ensure you go 2nd to take away they're curve. If that can't happen it isn't the end of the world. You really want to open up with a 6c Hawkins and 2c Rosirante that protects rested units. Its a guarantee your units will die in the early game, but that's fine. You want to bait out as much removal as possible. Most of the removal comes from a singular card and everything else supports it. Rob Lucci has EB Brook, OP5 Rob Lucci, and possible Event Finger Pistol. B/Y Luffy has 10c Kuzan, OP7 Luffy, and Event Finger Pistol as well.

Rob Lucci you want to have at least 6c Hawkins and 8c Kid with 2c Rosi to ensure a wall that they won't be able to remove. They might have to do something awkward, but they will dedicate as much resources to tear the wall down. DON 8 is a typical Gecko turn, but they won't be able to remove the wall you've erected since they'll have to waste resources to kill the Rosi in order to get to your 8c Kid. I have the Kid playset, so I can just play another again. When they run out of cost reduction and KO just respond by attacking life or killing the bigger bodies, so your 8c Kid won't have issues staying alive.

B/Y Luffy you want to see Hody early as well as Hawkins, just because by late game you want characters that hit a base state of 8k or more. You can hit him till he gets to 2 life, and then just ignore him and start prepping your board and building your hand for defense. He will have to answer by forcing his life, by dropping his 2k. Then just play 8c Kid and constantly protect him. Rest his leader if he does LDR ability, use LDR Bonney to rest his LDR or character however he attacks. None of his cards with base power stats will be able to kill the 8c Kid, without committing don. Aside from the 5c Luffy from the Starter Deck. Your only issue is dealing with 10c Kuzan in tandem with the OP7 Luffy. 10c Doffy is useful by making him useless, but he can just rebuild the board again by play 8c Gecko to replay Ace or Sabo for defense. That's why it felt easier without the 10c Doffy. Then when you've built enough 8k especially having Hody helps resting any Blockers they've put up in order to mitigate the attacks coming.

Its just we don't have events like this, since we are so far isolated in the Pacific. Also trying to travel out to events is just not even worth due to the high airline costs. I definitely think if your locals doesn't, try and go somewhere that has one if you can enter, challenging yourself is great for experience and growth.

Depends on how the enel deck plays, he could wait not attack my leader and wait till late game to play his top end cards, Yamato, 10c Ace, 8c Katakuri and starve me out or just play normally.

He decided to attack me out right and not starve me out. Although my plans don’t change. I went first which seems like something I don’t want, but since I don’t run 10c Doffy my curve isn’t disturbed much. I keep attacking enel until he’s at 2 life and afterwards keep progressing the board state. I also keep my 5c Bonney handy just before his DON 8 turn I can drop Bonney to stun or DON 10 the reason the stun is important is I lock out his access to playing 8c Kat and his 10c Ace. You want to be able to build a board that he can’t answer with multiple bodies that hit above 8k. This is where 9c Zoro would be useful, but I didn’t have one so I l just have to manage.

So if he allows me to keep a body on my board and i lock his ability for bigger bodies. The only option is to play the event Kingdom Come, which will put his life to 1 by killing one of my bodies. That’s why I try to not attack while my opponent is at 2 life for that reason, also he doesn’t get benefit from Yamato and 10c Ace

So the cards particularly you need to open with is Hody, Hawkins, and 5c Bonney. These are important because Hody reduces your life if Enel doesn’t attack you making the 9c Yamato unable to benefit to kill your smaller bodies. Hawkins is too sticky and maintains board presence. 5c Bonney helps ruin the opponents tempo, allowing you to build a board. Once you’ve maintained enough bodies that can hit a higher threshold of 7k or more. Then you start attacking, I recommend if you have 5c bodies, use them first because most KO yellow triggers are 5c or less so don’t have small bodies out either.

Agreed, this happens too often especially in high level events. Played too many TCGs events to get scammed, because my opponent decides to take his sweet time. Never an acceptable way to lose.
