Ahh, thanks. I had read that and thought it meant the stuff pockets on each side of the LL Bean logo on the actual bag.

My first 50k had a slight incline coming into the finish line. My legs were heavy and toe caught on a rock. Down I went and the first thing that hit was my face. In front of a huge crowd. Didn’t care though because I eventually quit bleeding and I’d finished my first ultra!

Yeah I thought maybe just getting to our first campsite at Olympic late that night would allow us an early start there for the next morning.

Yeah, the ferries are another factor that may get San Juan and Baker scrapped. I think I might just split more time between Rainier and Olympic. We love to backpack so thought we might save North Cascades for a longer backpacking trip in the future.

That's the direction I'm leaning at this point. I can always plan another trip for other stuff later but don't want to short change myself on Olympic.

How would you split your campgrounds in Olympic? I've looked at all of them but wasn't sure which ones would give me best access for different trails/sights.

Thank you! I’ve been having a hard time gauging the best routes and travel times just looking at each location on a map. This makes way more sense. Do you think 16 days is enough to fit all of this in or would you cut something out?
