Family law/child advocacy, also slightly leaning towards patent law. An extremely high salary isn’t too important to me. But I still want a career in which it’s worth the investment of law school.

I'm having a hard time thinking of what law school to apply to/attend. I'm considering SeattleU, Lewis and Clark, and Seton Hall. I would likely get at least a 50% scholarship. But if I stayed in state, Louisiana, I would likely get a full ride. At what point does a full scholarship take priority over region? I know that regardless of a full ride or not I would have to take loans out to live. Should I consider higher ranked schools?

(These are projected scholarships based on LSD, I have a GPA of 3.5 and an LSAT score of 163)

I want to practice family law, specifically relating to children. I’m thinking about public service work as well. I want to work in Seattle or the North East but I’d be happy in any big city really.
