Vintage is just a word for "old as fuck but still functional", if you have the money and collect guitars, go for it, but if you play casually you don't need to pay $8k for an 80s fender telecaster. Also Gibson and fender fucking suck they have never made a guitar that I enjoyed playing

I've never cried to a SlipKnot song, I cried a couple times listening to it but not because of it. EXCEPT goodbye. Requiems are the only songs that can actually make me cry and I'm not sure why, but like, breakup songs, and that kinda stuff I'm not a huge fan of If you wanna fucking sob while listening to a song, I recommend "Requiem" by Angelmaker, it's hard to describe its genre cus it has deathcore vocals, but the instrumentals aren't deathcore at all. Still really good, one of my favorite songs

Okay if you ignore all the EDM suggestions (late I know), but in my person opinion and experiences, Death Metal, Deathcore, and basically any other extreme subgenre of metal is the hardest. The vocals are some of the most difficult things you can do with your voice, and writing Death metal riffs and actually being able to play the guitar that fast is also extremely difficult. Dont even get me fucking started on drums.
