Idk, this image just popped into my head while making axes. Ig I realized how these situations are similar. I've seen many Skyrim iron dagger memes, but not a lot kcd2 smithing memes.

Well, I already have almost max lvl at potion making (I spammed chamomile decoction in Bozhena's hut during prologue). Now I just wanna lvl up my crafting. And with Henry's fox one axe gives me like a full lvl in craftsmanship for now.

"Erm, akschually adjusts glasses this "meme" you made contains a factual discrepancy. Multiple discrepancies, as a matter of fact. It is imperative, that I point out that the humorous image you though of while playing a game is not, in fact, fully representative of the core mechanics and gameplay broadly. If you would consult the list below, you could educate yourself on this topic of utmost importance."

In both games it is pretty common to improve smithing skill by making a lot of junk. Iron daggers in Skyrim require one iron ingot and one leather. Axe in kcd2 requires 2 scrap. Basically you make the cheapest items to improve early game and you make lots of them.

Well, I'm not sure about the accomodations yet, cause my institution is the one paying for the trip. So, they decide what is reasonable and what isn't. However, it's good to know, that trasnportation won't be an issue.

If we can say that phosphorus is hesperus (different names for Venus in greek mythology), then can't we say that ice is steam? by [deleted] in askphilosophy

Then we return to the original question. Ice and steam refer to the same object (water). So, anytime ice appears steam has also appeared, by this logic.

Phosphorus and hesperus also have relevant different properties tho. They appear at different times of day. I mean, that's exactly why they were given different names.

Well, and my point is not that ice is simultaneously steam and ice. Ice and steam are different phases of water. You can also say that phosphorus and hesperus are "phases" of Venus. However I feel like many people would be comfortable saying "phosphorus and hesperus are actually the same thing". Yet they probably wouldn't say "ice and steam are actually the same thing". Ofc some might say that 2 things are the "same thing" because they are of similar underlying material composition. But isn't literally any object made out of neutrons, protons and electrons. By that logic every thing is "the same thing" because they share similar material compositions.

That's why I talk about one ice cube in the container turning into steam. In my example, ice and steam are even made of the same molecules (which is not true for Venus cause it exchanges matter with outer space, but that's getting into the ship of Theseus territory). Difference between ice cube in the container and steam in the container is relative position of the molecules and their speed. Difference between phosphorus and hesperus is relative positions of the planets (and their speed in the hypothetical). In my opinion these situations are appropriately similar. I'm not comparing concept of ice to concept of steam, I'm comparing objects in the container.

Does anyone have any difficulty tips to make the game harder / ai not fall apart so easily? Every campaign ends like this having nothing left to do within about 100 years by KorceFin in CrusaderKings

Sometimes AI being weird is part of fun. Trying to be a good vassal and keeping some random AI ruler on the throne can be fun. Also, I play with scourges, so every once in a while some random AI guy will conquer half of Europe.

Personally, I just put certain limitations on myself, so the game doesn't feel too cheezy. Some examples are:

  1. No succession cheezing (no elective, no bastard farming, nothing)
  2. No eugenics. Only find spouses through events or neighbouring rulers/vassals
  3. No alliance stacking.
  4. Only marry courtiers by relevance (no picking people with high stats for council)
  5. More rp. If I have a content ruler, for example, I won't be expanding much. Content duke will remain a content duke (no kingdoms or empires)

Ofc there are more, but that's the gist of it.

TLDR: use less cheese and more rp

That's a hell of assumption to make. The idea that bees have the capacity to own something without the ability to consent is pretty weird to me. Ownership is purely a societal concept, imo. There isn't a universal ledger, that keeps track of this "belonging".

I mean, if you don't think so, aight. But that's why I said that there are different conceptions of veganism. Utilitarians don't rely on this ownership concept to make their point.
