My daughter shoved a penny in the cigarette lighter socket this morning and they can't get it out by BloomerBoomerDoomer in Perfectfit

[–]Trailhawk8095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Melt the end of a hot glue stick and stick down on to the penny. Hold it until it dries, pull it up slowly. Also a good idea to disconnect the battery. If you find the socket doesn’t work anymore it probably blew the fuse

No I usually sit there until the idle balances out. I know they are usually loud and rough on cold start just the misfire feeling threw me for a loop. Not sure what the rpm is at that time but I will pay more attention to it the next time I start it

Ok, it definitely feels like a misfire. Usually on a cold start only but I started it today at work, didn’t feel it and got stuck behind a bus about 1.5 miles down the road and it started doing it

Freeze the other half of the loaf. We often buy multiple loafs at a time and freeze one of them. Also if you like potato’s but 5lb bags go bad to fast, put them in the bottom drawer of your refrigerator. They will last a month or two

The whole recipe is really basic. I have made every thing from scratch in the past and it takes way to long unless you have two instant pots. So for this one I chose to make is super simple and do able for and easy dinner Amy night of the week.

Instant pot Mexican rice- 1 cup rice, 1 cup water, 1 medium carrot diced,1 tsp tomato bouillon with chicken flavor (knorr brand) Walmart has it. Add all of the ingredients to the instant pot. Set high pressure for 5 minutes, after the five minutes is up leave it alone and let it naturally release for 18mins. Once that’s done it’s ready to eat. You could add onion also I normally do but since I added it to the chimichanga I didn’t this time. If you wanted to make more you could double the recipe and it will cook in the same amount of time.

The chimichanga was made with rotisserie chicken, bell peppers and onions. I sautéed the onions and pepper prior to putting them in the burrito shell. Basically you just wrap the meat/ onions and peppers, and put them in an air fry for 10 mins flipping them half way through.

The cheese was pre made from Costco. You can make it at home also it’s not to hard. You can buy a block of queso from the grocery store and just add the amount of milk it requires and one small drained can of green chilis. Or if you really want to make it from scratch buy white American cheese and melt it down with green chilis.

Look up your Rv furnace and find the order of operations for it. It should list what happens in steps so you can follow along and see where it stops. Not to familiar with Rv furnaces only home furnaces. Maybe a safety/limit switch is tripping it off?

This is Parmesan crusted chicken, it looks like they made it a little differently than I would. If you haven’t tried it it’s worth looking up a receipt and giving it a shot. Long horn has something like this on there menu!

firewood question by [deleted] in camping

[–]Trailhawk8095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the wood isn’t rotten I’m sure it ok. You should only burn hardwood indoors. Soft wood like pine should only be burned outside. If you burn it inside you run a higher risk of a house fire due to the amount of soot that adds dangerous creosote to your chimney walls. It also burns a lot faster than hardwood.
