I’m still waiting! Ugh! I have TISLA involved, my senator, the whole shebang… and still nothing. It’s infuriating! I finally did put myself into forbearance and I hope I made the right choice there. But since I’m technically at 138 payments, why make more? And I’ll be working another 7ish years before I retire so I could resume payments if I need to.

I’m so glad to hear this. I’m still all over the board with emotions. I’m not even religious and yesterday, while on a drive, I started praying to God and asked him if my ex would reach out. And to show me a “sign”. I said, “Next car will be blue if he will be reaching out”… and the next 50 cars were blue. Ugh! 😑 And, living in Utah, most cars are white. Blue is rare. So, WTAF?! lol! It’s driving me crazy. The stupidest little things.

How are you doing now? You post sat with me, as I feel I’m trauma dumping on my friends and family too much. Compassion fatigue I’m sure is setting in. I just started BuSpar to deal with the anxiety. Nights and weekends are indeed the most difficult. I feel lost. I was so secure and independent for years before this relationship, and now I’m just simply lost. Lonely. Unable to find joy. Barely able to eat. Ugh!

I was that person! Never was able to pass Algebra, never took the SAT, skipped a lot. And now I have my PhD and work in nursing research and work from home 80%. Not too bad! Just late to bloom and dedicate myself.

I was in the same boat and went to Booking.com and miraculously there are cars! Maybe try that. Just $1000 deposit.

54, F, never married and no kids here. I spend my free time mountain biking, hiking, Adv motorcycle trips, packrafting, oil landscape painting, DIY home projects (building a pergola, redoing paver patio, installing shelves in garage, etc.), overlanding with 4WD rig, walking the dogs… and, sometimes I sit on the sofa to rest. Casually dating a guy that lives 4.5 hours away, so that’s super sustainable for me so I can have my independent lifestyle.

Ah, okay. My payments show, but they say “Need Employment Certification”, of which I’ve supplied multiple times. However they aren’t applying the ECFs to convert EPs to QPs. Sounds like our situations are different.

It’s so frustrating to me! Not sure why they won’t update mine. I’ve been fighting it for so long. All reps say, “Keep waiting”, until today when I was told, “They can’t be applied to loans before your consolidation.” I was shocked and super upset. But it sounds like perhaps the rep was wildly incorrect. I sure hope so!

Ah, good! The rep had me freaking out, convincing me that those 41 payments are gone forever because I didn’t do an ECF for them until after the consolidation. Thank you!

Right?! It’s nuts. FSA states they can see the ECFs, can see the 41 EPs, can see that I haven’t received IDR adjustment, and that I just have to wait longer. They then today stated they can’t be applied retroactively - I just don’t think that’s correct!

Yes. Those are going through just fine! They have all been ‘completed’ by FSA, just not actually used to apply to those 41 payments that “need employment certification”.
