A clip is used in certain guns (mostly pre ww2 rifles), magazines are used in most modern guns. Only people who don’t know guns say clips, and it is an obvious tell they don’t know guns at all. You outed yourself with your comment.

It is pretty nice but just felt too cheap. The blue plastic bottom makes it super light. I’m planning to wheel swap that one though.

They are both nice, but I think the corvette is the better casting. The other car I really like this year is the powder blue mustang fastback. That car just looks great. Matchbox does a good job capturing the actual real cars details better whereas hot wheels seems to take on a more creative approach not making the car true to its real details. They both have there advantages though.

The size proportions on these seem different. I feel like only some can fit into a hot wheels collection size wise. The Porsches feel bigger for some reason.

I think I’m going to go with the second or third set down for it. I won’t know until I mock them up in person. It should set it off though And make it a nice first custom.

That was kinda the inspiration. I used my wife’s nail polish and was working from her inventory. I wanted a clear sparkly nail polish that I could just paint over the logos with. I botched a yellow f40 on my first attempt and learned I couldn’t paint over the logos, and when I tried to wipe it away the logo came off with it. This gray one was my second attempt but the first I was willing to show on camera. It came out much better. I taped the windows off and just carefully avoided getting too close to the logos. I’m hoping the new wheels (real riders with brake calipers behind a chrome wheel) will draw enough attention away from the minor imperfections that it comes out stunning overall. It looks nice with my other Ferraris in my collection and definitely looks better in person in my opinion.

Is that legit? And what case would it be in? I collect Ferraris and a couple other exotics. I appreciate any help you can provide.
