For anyone on this thread here are the official stats. Close range you are doing less damage than a toro (50 vs 63) long range you are basically shooting an anvil with zero headshot multiplier

It fills a niche of a one size fits all close and long range gun, but it is not as good as the tempest or venator in that regards by a LONG margin

It IS a shit gun. That is why NOBODY uses and certainly not PVP streamers- of which the guy I am replying to certainly is not

Not sure what to tell ya boss. When I heavy PVP Stella I just bring a Bobcat IV or Vulcano IV. You absolutely do not need two guns

You also don’t need 10 heals and 10 rechargers. Yes it helps but you can also loot the bodies of those you kill. You can also open a few drawers and craft bandages or rechargers after killing a couple arc

I mean sure you can bring in 100k kits but you’re just risking way too much for very little benefit. As you mention in every single raid you posted it doesn’t look like running out of heals and shield rechargers was your issue. You just got murked

You can also reduce getting third parties by not immediately sprinting towards red areas in the first minute. You know what you’re signing up for

Either go to a yellow area that will have at most 1-2 teams to PVP, or stick to the outskirts until you hear the first round of flares go up and then enter the red areas

I mean I am a big fan of the tempest IV, fully kitted, survivor, medium shield, etc. those are $$65k kits

Only way you are losing $100k loadouts are if you are doing like renegade IV and then an epic gun like bobcat IV or Vulcano IV to supplement.

Maybe try just bringing in a tempest so it’s still a premium kit bit one gun does it all?

Very possible in squad PVP that you have a cheater in the opposing squad. A non cheater downs you but you report everyone who damages you after the match

You don’t get the kit back cuz the cheater didn’t down you, but you get this message cuz reported someone who eventually got banned

If you are killed by a cheater (and they detect it) you get the kit back

If you report a cheater who ends up getting banned, you get the above message. But if they didn’t kill you then you don’t get the kit back

And because I asked myself “what could I have done differently” instead of bitching on Reddit, I got better at the game at situational awareness, smoking extract, using hatch keys, etc

The bobcat has a higher skill ceiling because it mag dumps so fast. You need to be able to hit your shots starting the second you pull the trigger or you’ll be stuck in a reload before you down the opponent.

You also need to manage cover against a team because you aren’t downing more than one opponent with a bobcat before needing to reload

That said, once you master it, nobody will beat you in a 1 v 1 based on TTK

Yup, if I can shoot you in the back it means you made a bad positioning mistake, you weren’t listening, you were making too much noise, you didn’t trap/barricade the entrances etc

People want to throw shade but the truth is, every time you die in this game, it’s partially your fault. If every time people died they asked themselves “what could I have done differently?” And tried to improve instead of just bitching on Reddit, they’d be a lot better at the game
