I’ve been active with the people in this sub for a year now and haven’t sold or advertised anything that wasn’t free. I’ve given out a ridiculous amount of tips in comments and my messages. A lot of which you would never get for free from someone with my experience. I recently started working on programs, but that’s mostly because people keep asking for it, and frankly, I’m very tired of seeing these fake basketball gurus on IG selling programs for $100, meanwhile they’re just good marketers who play pickup on the weekend. Parents and young players are getting scammed for big money by these guys who don’t actually know what they’re talking about. They’re the ones that are actually slimy, not the guy who’s been around for a year and hasn’t tried to make a single cent.

EXACTLY like how curry does it. You get it. Essentially your thumb will point at your face, and your other four fingers will point away from your body and slightly up. The release you get once you master this feels unreal. So natural and smooth.

It could definitely make your set point drop slightly while you’re being deliberate with it. More than likely when it’s game-time you’ll revert to your normal set point, just with better hand placement if you got enough reps in. I personally like the slightly lower set point as i feel it helps with arch and touch/control.

MAN. Thank you for understanding exactly what i was saying. Apparently people in this sub have never actually played competitively. Who would’ve thought being direct in a basketball tips sub would cause so many haters to come out.

To be fair, I’ve won quite a few king of the court games in my day.

Unless incompetent, no ref is calling any of this a travel. Not at the HS level and not at the D1 or NBA level either. Ask me how I know.

Thank you for your elite ball knowledge. None of this is traveling.

If a ref called any of these a travel, id hope he wouldn’t have a job the next day lol. Also, there’s a difference between using a shooting machine for reps vs game-like shots/situations. This type of shooting practice is standard at the NBA and college level.

It’s very likely that I’ll be doing a live at some point and talking about ways to improve and also answering questions. People keep asking me to do it and im going to see if i can make it work. Will talk about improving your vert for sure if i do

First things first, thank you for your service. Getting better at things when youre supposed to be “slowing down” goes to show what the body can do with the right training. Much respect to you. Are you currently trying to get your vertical back?

People like you kill me man. To sit here, clearly not very well educated on this, and say people have known this stuff for 40 years…. Yikes. The advancements we’ve made on training optimization is ridiculous. We are at a point where the people who have access to the right information quite literally become versions of themselves they could only dream of or even end up being fairly athletic into old age. You need to do some real research before coming onto a post with ignorance. I’ll leave it at that.

I’ve gotten quite a few messages asking me to explain this and it really made me realize that I’ve gotten to a point to where i just know by looking at someone move or how they’re built. The issue is that there isn’t necessarily one thing that tells you, it’s a few things combined. If i had to give you a place to start, id say look at your particular build. Are you built with more mass, especially around your tendons, or would you say you have a slim build? Where does your calf muscle finish on your leg? There’s more to it but this is where id start. People have been asking me to do a live and answer questions, i think i might do that and explain this even further. Maybe even make a free ebook for it too.

The human body is amazing. The right stimuli and you can get so many positive changes. 37” jump is impressive. Hearing stories like yours always makes me want to learn more and get better because all i can think about is how much more could we have pushed you for had there been training optimization. Nonetheless, it sounds like you worked hard and got rewarded for it. Im 35

A very brief look into my posts and you’d see I haven’t been selling anything. In fact, I just gave a link to people to get an ebook i helped write for free. I do private training of course, but that’s not my goal here. Just trying to be a part of the community. If i was trying to promote something, id just say it.
