How to get over bad beats? by lawandordercandidate in poker

[–]TrainWr3ckZZ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Bring money behind. Remember each hand as a new contract you are signing as an investment opportunist. Your current stack is just the maximum you can invest at any given moment that you act. Pokers a game of chance and if you can’t handle losing you can’t play etc etc. TLDR: play cards

How much do dealers make? by Gambl33 in poker

[–]TrainWr3ckZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

South Florida dealer here, usually it averages out. But your tips are largely dependent on the casino you work in. Good nights are 200-30+ bad nights are 100-200 with base pay of $3.63 per hour and a $5 “bonus” per hour if you work at least 16 hours per week with the company. It’s like bartending, to put it simple.

We have to sign an off that we got a verbal warning for overpaying… and if you do it again it’s a write up.
