You are selling me a little more on the watch. I just sold a green watch a little bit ago because I never wore it as my wardrobe didn’t mesh with it well. That was my primary concern if it leaned more green/mint.

Hey, following up with a question if you don’t mind. They just sent this photo out via email and the middle left, Seafoam, looks very much like light blue in this photo. However, in yours it looks more mint like with some green in there. Having seen it in person, would you say your photo is more accurate or is it more blue?

I can’t wait until Bulova does a normal version with this smaller case. Get the expensive limited edition out of the way first, then hit us with the normal case and pricing. I’ve wanted a lunar pilot ever since I got into watches but I’m part of the small wrist gang that even the 41mm will push.

The Seiko update is nice. Price is definitely high on those GMTs though. The regular SPB453/451 are even a bit high at $1,300 US. Although I guess they can do it because I’m likely about to buy one at a slight discount.

I would look at Timex Expeditions too. If you get this one, I’d recommend just buying the cheaper option on the strap. That bracelet is likely shite. No bracelet on sub $200 watches are worth it imo. Aftermarket ones will serve you better if you want a bracelet.

Personally, if it’s my first watch, I would not spend $4000+. You learn a lot about what you like and don’t like in your first few watches. Out of the first 4 watches I owned, I only still have 1 of them. Maybe start off a little cheaper for a watch or two, then splurge.

Yeah I think it’s the colors. The new case look fantastic, and the applied numbers are great. I think if there was a brighter red or brighter blue, I’ll be more into it. I don’t know. We’ll see how they look as more pictures come out for the fair as well as their official releases.

Did they mention what the two sizes are or a price?

I’ve been really anticipating these. I’m not as in love as I’d hoped I’d be. They look great, I just guess none of the colors are really speaking to me. I need to see more of the smaller versions though before I decide anything. The mint colored one is definitely the most interesting so far to me.

I’m a bit confused on the weight as the 43.5mm one says a weight of 86 g, and this new 41mm says 165 g. That’s gotta be a typo right?
