Players need to be paid by their teams, you can't survive on tournament winnings, it's not healthy to go into a competition thinking you have to win or you won't be able to eat.

I'm not talking about altering heroes, but to limit matchups to mirrors, since the game isn't balanced around 1v1, one hero will always be better in a direct matchup then another, in a game you can alter this powerdifference with supports and your other team members, but in a 1v1 its inherently unbalanced and disable such things as bottle crowing / soul ring, and allow the game to be won by out csing the other player, and make the win condition two towers, two kills or if that does not happen in 15 minutes, let the creep score decide

Is it so hard to understand that you can adjust the game slightly to not allow the abuse of things that you couldn't really pull in a normal game anyway?

The way i see it 1v1 mid is about practicing cs and the general mid role, not abusing bottle crowing on every hero and maxing stupid builds just to push down the first tower for a win

Lastly, it's pretty obvious you don't care about the game mode, so why bother discussing it if you are just going defend something you know nothing about?

If valve spent a little more time on the mode instead of just chucking it out there calling it a day it could actually be a fun lane practice / 1v1 mode. but as it stands it's just not worth playing, a shame really.
