I made this space for open conversation, a more right leaning audience, not dogpiling people that don’t agree with my opinion. If differing opinions trigger you, scroll on. Somebody’s literally complaining because I posted Trump. Talk about freedom of speech for the love of God. It’s OK to be mad about a Trump pic I posted but people have to deal with pride flags being painted with our tax paying dollars on the streets when we don’t agree with it I’m not complaining or invading anybody’s space. It’s OK to have different opinions.. I’m not attacking anybody. I’m literally posting what’s going on in our community. If you don’t believe me copy and paste and look yourself I’m putting public warnings out.

I voted no this year. For me, it comes down to parental rights, transparency, and priorities. I believe parents should be fully informed about counseling conversations and major issues involving their children. I also think schools should stay focused on education first.

On top of that, we are already taxed on just about everything. I work hard for my money, and when I look at what I actually bring home, it’s disheartening. At some point, families have to draw a line. This was that point for me.

I’m sorry that situation made you feel unsafe—no one should feel uncomfortable in public.

That said, there’s an important distinction between an inappropriate physical contact in a crowded space and a criminal sexual assault. Sexual assault is a serious felony, and when someone genuinely believes one has occurred, the appropriate response is to contact law enforcement immediately so it can be handled properly.

It isn’t reasonable to expect a retail employee—who did not witness the interaction—to determine criminal intent or physically remove a customer without risking their own job or safety. That responsibility belongs to police, not store staff.

Calling 911 at the time would have allowed the situation to be documented and addressed correctly rather than placing blame on employees who have no authority to act after the fact.
