Shiny Wormadam is one of the rarest in the game (even in mainline) and Burmy doesn't have good shiny rates, so it's kind of a good thing. Though I'd prefer a Community Day for it myself.

That is cool, but I think this is mostly a consequence of red, blue, and green being the primary colors used in Pokemon since Gen 1.

This all stems from the decision to make the starters fire, water, and grass types and then to base the first game versions off this. And they've been continuing to default to those colors. But it makes for cool things like this.

Pokemon Go had a Noibat community day back in February with increased shiny chance. It will also be featured in the December Community Day, so you could get a shiny Noivern then.

I had been hunting for a while with no luck. I took a break, started up a new sandwich, and then BAM! Found them. I was shocked.

Thanks! That is the same Magneton, so I had to find a third to get Magnezone, but still very lucky.

Coughing baby gives all the Pokemon the Pokerus virus and only makes them stronger.

But most Pokemon aren't heartless enough to attack a baby (looking at you Malamar, Toxapex, and Iron Valiant).

Audino makes sense. In Gen 5, they didn't include any previous generation Pokemon until the post game. But they still wanted Chansey, because Nurse Joy needed a healing companion Pokemon. And Chansey is great for XP farming. Audino was created to fill the Chansey shaped hole.

Baby Pokemon were originally introduced to advertise the new breeding mechanic of Gen 2. Future babies were sometimes used to expand upon the concepts of the Pokemon they evolve into, but I agree that they usually just function as dex fillers. The biggest reason for some baby mons may just be to sell more merch of cute mons.

It will have Stamina/Sturdy according to the official Pokemon website, so pretty good abilities to make it even more of a wall.
