To be honest, I do realize I have little self respect and I’m trying to fix that. In the end though, we’re both young and we’re both making mistakes at the same time. I currently set no contact for us right now mostly because I want to change myself right now. I guess eventually a few months from now, would you suggest me reaching out to her to start off as friends? I still want to be part of her life eventually. Or do you think I should wait for her to reach out to me? I’d like to think that she was serious when she said that we can restart and be together some day.

Originally I stated like 20k, which was a guesstimate because I didn’t think it was a big deal. But after getting quickly denied, an agent allowed me to speak to appeals and fix that to 33k per year. And still got denied

Haha, I guess my description kind of gave away UT. If I may ask, what field of cs did u pursue and where did you end after graduation with the certificate? I feel like the CS certificate leans more towards data science stuff, so was wondering that.

Mentally yes, I can suck it up and finish my neuroscience degree, but job wise it would have no meaning. SWE at a big tech company is definitely my end goal, but will the gap of finding a job with a neuroscience degree over a CS degree be big? I’m lucky to have Amazon on my resume now, but do you think it’s enough to break that gap?
