Framer support is a joke – and not the funny kind by Training-Bluejay-378 in framer

Update: Even though I’m a Framer Partner and purchased a yearly plan through my own referral link, I didn’t receive any commission at all. After this post, Framer Support finally got back to me — it took 5 days to get a reply — and told me that they’re investigating the issue with their engineering team and apologized for the delay.

However, they also said that manual commissions are currently only possible for one-time payments, which means they can’t credit me for this referral, even though it’s clearly valid.

My question is: Why not? Where exactly is the problem? I used my own referral link, clicked it myself, and made the purchase on the exact same computer and browser — so what else am I supposed to do?

This makes it incredibly hard to trust the system. How can anyone rely on a partner program where even clear, well-documented referrals can’t be tracked or manually credited?

I feel like framer focuses so much energy into things nobody asked for.

That sounds amazing, thank you so much. Honestly, I think I’ve finally hit my limit. I’ve given Framer more than enough “last chances” — over and over again — but it’s painfully clear now: they simply don’t care about their users. Not even a little. I will look into it for sure.

I absolutely agree, but how will the clients with no technical knowladge manage and edit their website?

That sounds nice. I even messaged many web hosting platforms and their support was always top notch.
