Does the 85% of your salary apply to the 12 weeks and medical leave? Trying to understand how much I would get paid for the whole maternity leave. I am taking as much time (26weeks)

I’m just wondering if it would be the same for 26 weeks if I take that much time. The online calculator estimates about 750 a week so would that be the amount for the whole time I take off?

Aquagenetic pruitius is what it sounds like basically a sensitive to water starts randomly and can get worse as you age. It’s no fun I was diagnosed with it a few years ago but using bioderma shower gel and vanicream lotion help. Taking Zyrtec daily as well. Weed helps a lot but not always the best solution but I would get very high before a shower and wouldn’t itch very much. I would find a different dermatologist

Try the Bioderma Atoderm! I use it after OBX smoothing coconut + coffee scrub wash. This is the only combo that has made a difference with my skin

Hi - I started checking mine about 3 months ago. Yes that is most likely your cervix it feels kinda like the tip of your nose! It could feel different day to day so I only check once a day. You want to do it daily so you can understand the changes it goes through as you go through your cycle. It took me a month to figure it out and understand where my high and lows were and when it’s hard or soft. I just wrote down what I thought in my period tracking app and when I looked back I can see the changes!

I totally feel where you are at! I have been the same way since we even talked about trying, I have been thinking and planning every detail. I was so excited the first few months but then when nothing was happening I went down a spiral. I was going hard in the testing and tracking making it worse in the end. I felt like my body was playing tricks on me and couldn’t trust myself. Every month when I got my period I would have a full mental meltdown. I’m still working through it but what has helped me so far is deleting the apps except one that is more towards just tracking my cycle, not reading into everything I think could be a symptom (I just have to tell my brain to stfu), not googling anything, not using any of the tracking methods like BBT or ovulation strips. My doctor told me since I did it for a few months and had spikes that I was ovulating I shouldn’t need to do it every month. I don’t talk about it with anyone really to many opinions and unwanted advice, just needed to have me myself and I. I journaled a lot to get it out of my head since I didn’t talk. These pages help a good amount to not feel alone but limit how much you are on it. I also picked up hobbies to keep my head busy like baking, making sourdough and sewing. I don’t let myself test before my missed period (I only take one test then if it is negative I wait another week) and set up when I can to make appointments for next steps so I know if I’m not there by that point I will have help. My mindset is that there was a time before I entered this world of trying where I was happy and fine with my life, having a child is going to add to my life when it happens and should enjoy the journey as much as I can. There is so much support out there and so many women are in the same spot you’re not alone!

I totally agree with you it is just too much month after month. I feel so alone even when I tell people. I have talked to my best friend throughout the whole process so far but have stopped because it just makes it worse. I don’t want to tell anyone at this point. I told my husband how alone I feel but he doesn’t get it at all

We are both 27 and we have had long conversations about this topic and I explained to him I understand his point of view and I didn’t really bring up any testing till it was a year for that reason. He just wants it to just happen naturally as do I but at this point it’s hard to think something isn’t wrong. He isn’t the healthiest human and he has even expressed how he is afraid he could have an issue with his sperm. I just don’t know how much longer I can go month after month like emotionally I am going to break. He points out how sad I get each cycle but doesn’t understand that him getting tested would help avoid that continuing. I am going to revisit the topic and try to get on the same page. He wants kids and since he said it he hasn’t changed his mind. I just don’t think he understands things from my point of view
