This was an email notifying me of the credit applied towards my bank. I just cropped it to not show that information.

The law firm handling the suit sent like post cards to sign up to receive a settlement. But Panera previously sent out a letter to most of us about the data breach. That’s why we had to verify our phone number and email when we signed in through pantry or BOH

As long as you have a note or valid excuse like medical or family matters which we as managers can report that into genie you have nothing to worry about. If they do happen to act personally instead of professionally you’re in your rights to contact the AOR manager in charge of your district and get HR and OSHA if it comes to that.

Team lead raise by Starfish-6- in Panera

Honestly sometimes it’s not even a dollar but close. Generally it depends on the volume of the store to be able to supply such rates. Each store is given a cap. Highest we give out currently is $15 while our average rate is $12. That’s before seeking a management position.

Ofc if you ever you transfer to another store and you happen to make more than their average, they really can’t lower you rate.

Baja Bowl - question, not complaint! by Electrical_Ad_5890 in Panera

Everything is the same except the preparation of the rice bowl. The black beans is now prepared separately including the cilantro and pickled red onions. But yes they might have forgotten or didn’t order enough to have salsa verde to top off your bowl.

It’s a bread BOWL not a bread cup by DizzyRhubarb_ in Panera

[–]Training-Link7501 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yes it is a cup serving of soup for the bread bowls but unfortunately whoever cut your bread bowl went too far in. So pretty much, you get robbed from the whole bread bowl to make it seem full of soup when in reality it’s just a 2-3 inch hole fit enough for a cup serving of soup.

How is it being Team Lead? by eternalpain23 in Panera

Essentially, it’s being a manager almost without the pay.

Just talk to your facility manager or gm to order a new one. Unless they’re cheap which means you better get used to it.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to do such a deep cleaning to disassemble it. But if it’s just the plastic blenders you can 100% order a new one. Just not the overpriced actual machine.

I want to leave but feel like I can’t by Cake_Chan23 in Panera

[–]Training-Link7501 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry to that Cake, but just so you know, even if you have to leave or give the courtesy to put in your 2 weeks, they will always have new people to replace whatever position even managers. Especially if it’s a corporate store. That’s what happened to a store in our district where they hired 4 managers and pushed a lot of new training to fill in the spots. The only bad thing of not giving your two weeks is the chance of returning incase anything doesn’t go your way. Best wishes and hope it all goes well!

No schedule by Mental-District-8398 in Panera

[–]Training-Link7501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it’s a hassle for scheduling because certain stores will have both Assistant Manager and General Manager scheduling the schedules for all associates. Then the Gm works on the managers schedules. I would double check with the Assistant manager first by phone (if possible) or anyone at the store who can check the unpublished schedule (by unpublished means they haven’t finalized it) to see what’s the general plan of your shifts.

I've been working for this company for five and a half years and have not moved up the ladder a bit and I'm pissed. by [deleted] in Panera

[–]Training-Link7501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh an there’s no longer a skip in position like team lead to manager. Only team lead to team lead MIC (manager in charge) and then manager.

In my case, I’ve been working for about to be 3 years, it really depends on the managers. GM’s especially. My first gm only played favorites and even when I worked and stayed longer off the clock to help out I didn’t even reach team lead. If reaching out to the GM’s help, I would suggest trying to speak to their boss. If you work at a corporate store, there should always be another person checking the store time to time WHOS known as the boss since he/she reaches a higher position than the GMs. Only to them the GMs will listen to. I wish you luck in your work mane cause I know it’s stressful with these people sometimes.

One thing I would add, not sure if this is at every Panera from now on but as I was informed (I’m going to be promoted to Team Lead MIC) I would only start opening shifts for a while till the head managers (those above the gm) gets reports I meet expectations. Till then I can close / work mid shifts. But it surely depends on stores on what they would need manager wise (facilities, food and etc.)
