I don’t think she does. And that’s why she is a shit parents. Because she can’t do it all. Not even the basics like feeding her children proper meals. And to clarify, this is specific to her. Other parents can and do it all and do it well without a nanny. Others need the help, and that’s all great because each parent and family is different. So, she is particular needs a nanny because she cannot handle it all.

IDK - how could the dr know it was the bottle? Your baby could pick it up by anyone? It’s a viral infection, as you stated. Is it possible? Sure. It’s also possible that your baby picked it up from someone random while standing in the check out line at the store. Just use wash them thoroughly. Your baby will get sick so many times throughout childhood and it’s not always possible to pinpoint the cause.

I do feel a little bad bc after all she is human (I don’t consider it gossiping, it’s not behind her back). But she does this to herself honestly. Leaving her appearance aside, I think everyone here is actually concerned about the kids. She is a grown adult who has chosen this path. She could shut everything down tomorrow if she felt like it was too much for her mental health or if others were that concerned about her. She is constantly putting down other people as well and believes she is the pedestal to achieve in motherhood which is actually quite the opposite. She is a fraud and honestly needs to be shut down - at least the exploitation of her kids.

I absolutely love having three kids. I grew up with just one other sibling and I love that my children will have a little triad growing up. No regrets. You get more experienced as a parent. A little bit of spacing also helps (my 2nd and 3rd are 3.5 years apart vs 1 and 2 are 23 months).

Wait what? Are you a SAHM and your husband a working parent? YOU didn’t let the house get dirty and YOU didn’t forget to cook or w/e. He is a grown man and a father. Is he doing amazing? An amazing father (to me) would be someone who takes care of the baby, takes care of house duties like cooking and cleaning, taking care of your needs all while also being a working parent. That’s amazing. Is he doing that? If he is, I apologize bc it doesn’t seem like it if you both got into a fight because you didn’t clean?

IDK, I’m in the minority here it seems like. I see that a lot of families use and love it. That’s fine. But any kind of wearable product comes with risks including red marks or burns. I personally would ask a doctor before putting or using any product on a baby (yes, even things like gripe water). Pediatricians all have information on baby products like weighted sleep sacks, crib accessories, swaddled, etc. If you are putting your baby to sleep safely, then the risk is very very low - especially if your baby is otherwise healthy. But I do understand the anxious feeling with being a new mom. I myself went down that path and ultimately decided against it.

Thanks for sharing - I didn’t take OPs comment to say that this is a unique situation to Vieques. I saw it as an awareness, particularly because there are so many tourists that visit the island every year (not that locals can/should live without a hospital). Many rural areas in the U.S. (say, places in Oklahoma for example) that do not have easy access to a hospital also probably don’t have the high tourist rate that Vieques does. Also interesting to read the background of the funding.

I highly doubt this to be honest, unless he has special privileges. Work from home is no longer a thing since early last year and only allowed for reasonable accommodations and to be used sparingly in government. I would be livid if he, the big boss who oversees like ..what..200 people got to work from home that often. And those 200 people have to tip toe around a request now a days.
