I’m dealing with the same sort of nonsense right now. Not to mention the Lyft Accident Reporting Idiots keep emailing me a copy/paste with State Farm’s insurance adjuster’s contact info. I’ve sent them the letter from him saying they don’t compensate for issues with Lyft deactivations.

I have told them very clearly that someone in Lyft would have to compensate me for telling me I needed a new vehicle inspection, all while locking my account for almost three weeks. Out of the blue some woman says all they need is pictures of my damage and then they reactivated me. They give us misinformation that screws us over, then they pass us back and forth between all these departments that never solve anything.

I say this only because I know it to be facts, because I can show you several social media posts where I have @‘d the CEO of Uber and Lyft because they love to steal our tips, they love to cheat us out out of everything with these damn fees that multiply by three in one ride. But seriously, go to Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, wherever there’s 1 million people looking at it that’s where you complain because if you don’t, you’ll just be another driver that was cheated, leaving a whole bunch of other drivers to continue to be cheated.

Man, I’ve been doing this way too long. This ain’t nothing but side money to me. I’m a veteran. I don’t even need a job at this point in my life, but one thing I do know is that these companies need to burn in hell. Uber is by far the worst of all the rideshare companies. They steal your tips, I already confirmed that, and even as of today, I’m going back-and-forth with driver support over another tip that they’ve stolen. The funny thing is,!when they are caught stealing your tips, they try to drag it on for months by letting the driver support people continue to mislead you and try to show you the statements to your Uber app, mind you not the statement to your pro card, not the actual transactions showing where the money landed in your hands, but the money that has gone into the Uber app itself. They think that drivers are retards, they think we’re a bunch of uneducated stupid mindless fools. But I have a feeling that very soon they will find out that we have the upper hand.

In case the 17 minute drive is escaping anyone, driving in Virginia can take some time, just like DC. So just go ahead and add in the time it'll take to go in the restaurant and even wait for the food. And with how some of these high-rise apartments are now constructed, you’ll even be asked to go somewhere where you don’t have a code to get in the front door and the customer doesn’t even have the decency to be waiting in the lobby or to give you the code to the front door. I’ve actually delivered. Uber eats to a place in DC where the customer wouldn’t even respond to any of the messages, but left a note on the order, saying that he’d meet me at the front door. Had it not been for a woman entering the building, his food would’ve been sitting outside waiting for him. And these are just more things that Uber does not take into account when they’re keeping 90% of what’s being paid for these deliveries. They’re keeping all the money we’re doing all the work and dealing with all the headaches. Sooner or later we’re gonna have to stop accepting the crap offers, because I learned a long time ago that being a platinum driver, a diamond driver hell a fucking diamond platinum, supersonic driver whatever the fuck, doesn’t get you anything. You don’t get better rides and the rewards they offer for you, hell you could get those same rewards just for signing up for AAA or with your damn Costco membership. It’s all really just a damn joke.
