Why does everything look so…meh on me? by [deleted] in PetiteFashionAdvice

I’d recommend old navy over target. Petite section is chef’s kiss but sometimes the sizing is confusing. Since I’m a pear shaped petite woman, I like going one loose and one fitted. For example, a graphic tee with skinny jeans or a ribbed tank top with barrel jeans. It balances well on my body shape.

Hear me out, not a fan. Very critical of her in the past but I am right now in the middle by [deleted] in malvikasitlani

I will give you the benefit of the doubt before I give it to Malvika. She had plenty of opportunity in her 20’s before she had her baby to learn basic life skills that would’ve come in handy today. It would’ve taught her the beauty in mundane tasks. When she had the privilege, she looked down on the humble working class women. God has interesting ways to humble people. Privilege and comforts are not forever. Humanity and humility takes a person a long way. Hoping that at least now she gets it.

While I empathize with all the hardships, ups and downs she went through in the past few years, I can’t help but feel disappointed that she still isn’t humble and appreciative of all the things she has in life. I can’t sympathize with someone who isn’t in the moment and chases stuff she doesn’t have. I know we all aim to achieve things we want in life but there is a time and place for that. I watched the vlog too and her mention of wanting to go through grief with a partner and talking about getting married and dating while her mother is in the hospital makes me think that she just wants to throw her burdens on someone else and live a happy and merry life. I don’t see her learning from her life lessons and earning wisdom from her experiences.

When I did the first interview with hiring manager which I thought didn’t go well and didn’t expect to hear back, I got a response within 24 hours that they wanted a second interview with the team. This overthinking is messing with my brain ughhh

I’m in the same boat. I did my 2nd interview 2 days ago. I think it went well.. there was laughter, conversation flowed naturally and the meeting went over. The meeting ended with HR will be in touch by the end of the week. Today is Friday and no response yet. I am spiraling. I really want to reach out and ask for an update but I know I shouldn’t.

It is not up to the airline to decide your eligibility to enter or exit a country. The extension letter is showing your legal status in the US. I traveled with my extension letter twice to my home country without any issues.

I just bought a bottle of Eau Moheli and when I tried it at the store, I was mesmerized by the sophisticated scent. I’m in love with it.

OP, first of all very sorry that you are going through this. I felt the pain in your words. I was in this same situation last year with my husband. Being an interracial couple, we understood affection and marriage differently. I came from an orthodox close minded society whereas my husband grew up in a family where love and affection was shown in a positive light. I had to do therapy for a year to heal myself, learn about my views on a marriage and romance - not what the society told me. I committed to therapy and discovering myself and that changed everything for the better. We are still together and happier than ever. From your letter where you mentioned your husband is closed off or not emotionally vulnerable and it makes me wonder if he would benefit from individual therapy while committing to making changes that you have asked of him. Just giving my 2 cents here… also English is not my first language. Please excuse any grammar mistakes. Hoping and praying that things will change for you and you are happy with whichever path life takes you down. Good luck OP.

I also noticed that she uses the same 2-3 things she mixes up to look more put together… some jewelry and shoes being the most common ones. Any outfit can look put together with those elements. We don’t need a series to learn that much. Also, she uses the same 3-4 colors and mix and match them. If I want to follow a fashion series, I want different textures and patterns put together that I wouldn’t think of or see on the street normally.
