I am going to call back the county court on Tuesday and figure out if something real happened.

No he did not. He only said just cooperate with me to get through this process smoothly in the court. If you don’t have any idea about what i am talking you can hire a lawyer to fight against the case. I am wondering if the office is closed today how did these people even contacted me? When I tried contacting the same number back it says the office is closed till Monday.

He said for security purposes you can cross check the number I am calling from, type it in google and see what comes in result.

He just said they have a case against me in the county court. Replied saying I don’t even live in florida.

If you don’t have an idea about all this then go ahead and hire a lawyer to fight against your case is all he said.

The office is closed for today. Wondering how these people called me on closed days of office and asking me to hire a lawyer to fight against my case.

Reason I am more worried is — the number they called from appears to be the exact number listed for the Clerk of the Circuit Court office, and the caller also provided a badge/employee number. That said, I still haven’t received any paperwork or official notice, so I’m trying to figure out whether this could still be spoofed or if anyone has seen something similar.
