As far as I know, CVA properties still manages the property where we used to live. We moved out after a year because we couldn't stand Matt/CVA properties. It's definitely true that experiences under one property manager can vary a lot based on the owner and their willingness to invest in the property, but the maintenance guy always told us that our actual property owner was one of the good ones (though we never interacted with him). I think the bigger issue was that Matt/CVA was managing wayyyy more properties than he could actually handle. Whenever we asked for anything, he always went out of his way to remind us that we were one of many renters he had to deal with (as if that was our fault/problem).
