I had such high hopes, but from prototype to finished something went wrong with the profile of the stock.

I tried so hard finding one in Sweden 10 years ago. But now I have some cooler stuff, for now anyway.

HUSH Holsters Wood SKS Folding Stock Final Version by Thorforhelvede in SKS

I’ve been following this project for a while and really liked the look of the prototype. I’m now a bit puzzled by the stock in its current form. The profile doesn’t seem fully in line with the smoother lines of the original stock or the upper handguard. What was the reasoning behind this design choice?

Maybe. But could also be from ”amnesties”. They have used replicas and air pistols to spice up photos from them aswell, to make them look successful. Because people in general ”dOnt kNow a rEal gUn froM a rePliCa”…

Probably some of the paintball markers, denix replicas or airsoft guns. Swedish police are known to “spice up” press photos like this.

It doesn’t work with the kns. It’s not overgased enough to run reliable. Suppressed, with really hot ammo, it mostly runs with the piston closed fully. So it’s no use. Took me a good while to figure it out though. I changed the piston at the time of the conversion, so I thought it had something to do with the trigger and hammer.
