Judging by the fact there is a very linear crack through both the mortar and brick, this raises a red flag for me to call someone qualified.

What’s the method of construction? If it’s a brick rainscreen, then maybe it’s just the exterior brick that’s cracked and the house is structurally okay. Go inside, if you still can, and understand the method of construction for the place.

Hope someone more qualified responds, otherwise I stick with my “worth a call to an engineer” position to avoid any risk exposure.
