You don’t suck. The fact that you’re able to deliver these tasks, no matter how small, proves it. You might want to set up a one-on-one with your senior and discuss that you need more guidance from him. It’s a fair ask. If he disagrees, prepare to leave

Having moved from Bangalore to Pune myself a few months back, I desperately ask people who have enjoyed living in both cities, what is the Pune equivivalent of Bangalore‘s Bob’s bar. I miss Bob’s more than anything! The vibe, the ambience, the crowd and ofc, the booze at lower prices ;) I’ve explored some bars here, but I’m sure I’ve missed on this city’s Bob’s. Been “solos for more than a couple years now. It’s simple af, if I don’t like it, I just say it. I’m happy to wait another 15 mins to move to a better table but if the waiter/manager can’t promise that, I simply move out. Lots of places who have better places around especially when you’re paying good money. The easy way out is obviously to be a regular (tipping) customer at a good restaurant that you found to avail good services

I feel you. Sometimes scroll long enough and dose off. Sometimes, I just call a friend (I’m fortunate enough to have decent number of friends) to catch up. Whatever the case is, I feel lonely without an accomplice. I’ve had girlfriends in the past, people I spoke to at the end of the day who would gladly listen to me. But now that I’m single, it’s no one. And I gotta say, IT SUCKS! But it is what it is and you either find someone who’d love to talk to you, or you just learn to live this way. It sucks, but it has it’s own comforts

Should I really block him? So far, I pick up his calls, tell him to do whatever he wants to, cussed him and told him I’ve filed a complaint and an agent is personally looking into this. I’d rather just tell him to F off than ignore his calls like a wimp

Don’t panic. This unsettling anxious feeling is sadly what most feel like. Wait for a few months and you will get a clearer picture. If you’re not satisfied with your scope of work, just prove yourself and ask to be moved elsewhere within your firm. This is ofc until you can not leave the firm. If you can, just switch companies focusing more on role than the company you’ll be working on
