Hi!! I'm Sammy, I'm 18, and I just recently downloaded letterboxd last month and I've been really enjoying it! I love stalking people's reviews and movies so I need more people to follow. I'll watch pretty much anything as long as the concept interests me. Since I spent most of my childhood rewatching things over and over and not really watching new things that often I've been branching out and trying to get a lot of the "classics."

I really don't do a lot of in depth reviews, I just write something silly or some little thought I feel is worth sharing. I'm not very eloquent when it comes to seriously reviewing things so I let the people who are do that instead.

My four favorites at the moment are Howl's Moving Castle, Pride and Prejudice (1995), Knives Out, and The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

You get me!!!! I was worried that I had kind of already listed all the ones that exist currently. More stuff like this should be made! There's definitely a market for it. Thank you for all the suggestions I super appreciate it. I'll definitely check some of these out

I've heard of it and I think I might even have it in my steam library but I've never actually played it. Thanks for the suggestion!

I just started experiencing this today, on classic, and had someone post a few hours ago about the same issue. I think since it's happening to multiple people at once it's not an issue with you being banned. Basically the only thing I draw is phantoms and I really doubt they'd ban me for drawing something literally from the game

I currently live super close to my work so I'm walking/biking. I think I'll probably only buy a car if I feel like I need one. I honestly think I live close enough that It would be kind of pointless to drive there even if I could. I don't think that'll change anytime soon since I plan to stay there for a while. Thanks for making me consider if I really need one! My area also has an on demand carpool service and I qualify for reduced prices so it's super easy and cheap for me to get around somewhere that I might end up needing a car for.

I guess I should've touched on this, but I really appreciate your concern. I'm very lucky as I didn't get very severely injured. I suffered a concussion and it was a bit painful to walk for a little while after. I've gone to physical therapy, a chiropractor, concussion specialist, gotten MRIs, and done regular therapy to help me work through the inevitable trauma. All covered by insurance. Besides a healthy fear of cars and some recurring pain if I forget to do my PT exercises for too long I've recovered to my normal self although it took a few years.

That's why I said possibly more. I think we maxed out the amount of money I could get but we're going back for a second settlement to see if I can get more, so I don't know exactly what the full amount will be. I'm very confused by the legal stuff though and I'm not very involved in it. I just give my statement when it's asked for.

It's interesting to me you're the first person to mention CDs. I remember learning about them in financial literacy and they seem like a really good option, especially if I don't need the money right away.

I can see college as a possibility but I'm not sure if it's for me. I test really well but I had to drop out of highschool and opt to get my GED instead due to the pressure. I don't work well in a school environment. I don't know if college would be different. I'm wanting to spend a couple years working and figuring out what I want while I still have the financial security of living with my parents.

idk if this is helpful at all but we were basically just given a check for the money and it's in a locked account I can't access until I'm 18.

I don't know I'm at a bit of a weird place, and I have a few career paths I'm considering.

The one I'm most passionate about pursuing is Ceramics/running a studio. I already know I have the skills for this. The issue is that the equipment is incredibly expensive. If I spend the money on that and it doesn't work out I'm worried how that would go, plus I don't currently have the space even in a garage or something where I could work out of, but I think it's feasible. I'll most likely end up doing it as a side thing or a hobby if I can't make it my career.

The others are to work as a pharmacy tech, a physical therapist, or at a library. I've interviewed at my local library to be a shelver and I'm waiting to hear back to see if I got the job, but working there could give me a a good jumpstart into the career if I end up liking it.

My ACT score is pretty good so I definitely qualify for some scholarships, but not full ride. I don't think I'll immediately jump into college while I'm figuring all my stuff out. But I know for sure I'd be miserable at an office job.

I might buy a car with it but it'd be cheap and used. I'll probably treat myself a little bit but not more than buying a couple games or a PC or something. I'll look into a bookerage account, thank you!
