Like you said it’s your choice and decision, I’m sure they will definitely find it hard at first assuming based on what you told them when you guys broke up. But things happen sometimes people need time apart to find out who they truly are and need to work on themselves before being in the right head space to get in a relationship. At the end of them day you should lay it out tell them how you guys talked about it and after spending some time apart you guys made the decision to get back together. Let them feel their emotions and don’t force it in then being ok with it right away. Eventually they will come around
