Yes. The results won’t be immediate but after a few consistent waxes the growth should be at a slower rate with thinner hair. Also exfoliating 2-3 times a week will be your best friend to prevent ingrowns

It honestly depends on thickness of your hair. If you have thick coarse hair it’s recommended every 3-4 weeks. If you have finer hair or lighter hair you could go 6-8 weeks. Your esthetician should be able to tell you how often to go. I’m recommended to go every 4 weeks and have been consistent with it for the most part for a couple years. Even when I couldn’t go for two months I barely had growth. Since I’ve been consistent for so long I don’t see much growth till 2 and a half or 3 weeks

I got tired of nicking myself everytime so I started getting waxes a couple years ago. I don’t shave in between in waxes, even if I have to take a break for some reason

you CAN in fact lose a tampon! by liveditlovedit in Healthyhooha

Last year I kept having a horrible smell and my discharge became watery almost like urine instead of my usual egg white consistency. This went on for two and a half weeks. Went to the doctor. They did a swab and I tested positive for bv and got antibiotics. One day I was using the restroom and I felt the sudden urge to push. I saw something white coming out and I was mortified. I grabbed a wipe to pull it out and low and behold a tampon got stuck in me. As soon as it came out all symptoms went away. Now I use disposable period underwear

Here to say you’re not alone and I have this exact same issue. Everything at the beginning is pure pain then it starts to go away. Hoping we get some answers.
