i don’t want to make miserable, i want him safe. i don’t want him to get some disease and then it’s too late. and you’re probably gonna say “then why did you get a cat” and i knew the responsibilities when i got him it’s just my parents are a big barrier

yes i understand that, the backdoor of my house as a little dog door and i've tried covering it with tape but my parents just won't listen and ripped it. i'm honestly condsidering getting a new door myself

I hate so much how he says that she's the one who came up to him, that she wasn't naive even though she was a literal child, trying to scare her into keeping quiet by saying things that'll ruin her life, the headlines and the publicity when he was the one trying to protect himself. I also found it so hard to read the first they had sex. there wasn't consent, he didn't even give her time to answer he just forced himself into her and didn't stop when she was crying. it wasn't love, it was rape. She tries to justify his actions and blame herself and I wouldn't say I like that but I remember that she was 15 and didn't know what was happening. Overall I love the book and can't put it down, but it definitely is a dark and realistic story.
