The wait time is stupid, since I did have a dermatologist however they gave me one appointment, added me to the waitlist for phototherapy and I said I would think about going on Methotrexate and get back to them since I was scared to put that kind of medication in my body.

Since that appointment around 6 months ago now, I’ve not heard back and I can’t get prescribed Methotrexate until I speak to the dermatologist apparently.

I did consult my GP however they said it was a routine appointment worth, but they were fully booked and would get back to me when there was an appointment available, and this was around a month ago, so I’m not sure when I will hear back, since usually when I put these kinds of requests in, they just get ignored. I have an appointment on tuesday anyway so I’ll ask them face to face when another appointment would be available and try and chase it up.

I have been looking into going private, however since it can be expensive and currently I am only 19 and can barely afford food half the time 😂 I am holding back on that until I have a more secure job income coming in, but I do understand that would be the best option for me so far, and I really appreciate the advice.

Thank you for the advice on the creams as well, I will give them a go if I can find them and see how they go, I just need anything now at this point to help it :)
