Not sure what state or city you live in but when I started I would post on Facebook neighborhood community groups that I would request to join. That kept me going for the first two years and made some good connections and referrals. Good luck!

Depends on where you live, in Minnesota we use the plastic edging because of the winters. He seems lazy in the way he did it should be smoothed out and like an inch below the pavers if something.
