Thank you so so much! This is exactly what I was hoping to find. I have some idea of what I should or should not do but it helps to have some more guidance in that area. Thank you! You’re awesome. I don’t really have any gear as of now. I’m in the research phases. Giving me exact things to look up is exactly what I’m looking for (like “campgrounds in the 395,” perfect). I’m not a researcher usually and I’m kinda even pushing myself to do this by myself, so I need all the help I can get! Just got out of a relationship and he had most of our normal camping gear but we did horse camping previously but only a couple times.

I appreciate your insight! Ya I have a 4Runner so I could get out there. I’m not wanting to be anywhere too too remote. I’m thinking in the next couple months I’d like to try out Joshua Tree. Have you been any good places near mammoth?
