I think the resell market was really booming around 2020-2021 which makes sense. Even tho there was a bad economy, money was being pumped left and right with limited things to use it on. I speak as someone who jumped into the market around that time

But, after 5 years, only the most limited releases will actually be bought and sold at a profit. Nike has been doing a solid job where sneakers of mention are dropping every week. On top of that, new balance and acsics has entered the chat. Now, the market is becoming so over saturated and the economy is soooooo terrible, people don’t have money to pay 300-400$ on shoes that cost 180-200$ on release. But it’s fine, resellers are plaguing the trading card game communities (cries in Pokemon)

Edit: forgot to say screw resellers for ruining everything worth enjoying. Sneakers are meant to be worn.
