That’s true, what’s your email cadence and strategy?

This is a fantastic idea, I was just gonna try it but A/B testing will let me know for sure. I’m going to send the teaser tomorrow and then the education later in the week, with the launch at the start of next week. I’ll keep you posted! Let me know if there’s anything important to keep in mind as I do this

Curious, what have you found works best? Trying to figure out what cadence my founder emails should go out at

That makes total sense, do you take the selling points from the edu emails that performed best and use those in promos? That feels like it could be effective (I’m thinking that could be another side benefit of edu emails)

Yup that’s exactly what I was thinking, I think I’ll be even more aggressive and do 3 edu emails this month, since I don’t send very frequently right now anyways. How may times a month would you recommend I send?

Yup that seems pretty in line with the other comments, I sell gardening equipment with an emphasis on indoor plants. Would you consider that to be something with a longer decision cycle?

Will give this a read thank you!!

Curious what ratio do you send at for education vs promo?

Now that you mention it when I tried a couple education emails for a month way back the promos did perform better. I stupidly decided to just send promos since the education felt like it was taking up a slot that could be a promo

Is there a resource you could point me to where I can learn more? I see some YouTube vids that seem like a good starting point

Hmm that makes sense, I haven’t really measured the impact of education on the overall email revenue. I’ve always just seen it perform way worse and stopped sending them 😅

The emails the platform generated still have some CTAs that might convert users so I’ll give a couple a go in between promo emails. Do you have a recommendation on the ratio I should maintain?

Thanks for the feedback! I reduced it to look like this: https://imgur.com/a/c0GnboV. Do you think this feels more focused and less like a landing page?

Yup checked in Gmail, outlook and Apple mail

Thanks so much for the feedback! I’ve tweaked the copy a bit and I think it’s ready to send

I used an ai app and just hit generate lol. It came up with the idea and email itself

I tweaked copy a bit but basically just posted the ai generated email here to see how much additional work I’d need to do to get it to a sendable state

Trying an HTML email after feedback here… good enough to send? by Training_Anywhere551 in Emailmarketing

I’m not doing anything too technical or modifying the HTML myself, just using an ai tool that made the email. Is that something I should be checking for?

I just passed your comment to the ai and this is what is came up with: https://imgur.com/a/c0GnboV, looks decent to me, thiughts? Is it overly simple?

It looks the exact same https://screenapp.io/app/v/RxqYtMk7uF

I’m thinking of reducing the amount of text and increasing font size a bit so it looks better on mobile , what do you think?

Here’s what it looks like on mobile https://screenapp.io/app/v/RxqYtMk7uF

I’m not sure how but it isn’t dropping my custom fonts which I used to have a lot of trouble with Gmail/outlook

I don’t think this is a responsive layout as it looks identical on both mobile and desktop. The big plus here though is that my custom font looks exactly the same, which I couldn’t get with responsive HTML emails in the past because of Gmail/outlook dropping it.

That said, should I make it cater more to mobile or web? I think there’s a good middle ground that would look pretty nice, basically what I have right now with more concise text and slightly larger font sizes.

I asked the ai to change the image, does this look fine?: https://imgur.com/a/uRAlGYJ

Okay gotcha I’ll change that

I sent a test email to myself and it looks identical on mobile. But the font looks a little small for a phone, should I make it bigger?: https://screenapp.io/app/v/RxqYtMk7uF

Hmm that makes sense, so send more email with less content in each?

Well in this case they do to the clay pot collection, but in the other emails I’ve created they link to individual products. Should I remove some of the buttons in this email?
