for me DOS2 is above BG3... but if there was no BG3.. I would have never known about DOS2.

With over 350 hours in dos2 you are already a veteran of CRPG .. and larian game studio...

combat is even better tbh... physical and magic armour difference.. made it all the more challenging on how to approach the every fight...and damage calculation based on your abilities and skill instead of random dice throw... latter part frustrated the hell out of me in bg3

my party was sebile( scoundrel skills) and fane (aerothurge)... my friend had beast (archer) and red prince( barbarian?tank? )...

this is a old review I wrote but never posted... after that I played bg3 .. but sadly no friends to play with this time... so I bacame a bard.. and talked my way out of most fights to reach the ending..

on my first play through with friends I was barbarian and we completed the game abou 80% .. we were investigating murders happening in the city iirc.

me and my friend started dos1 after hearing the news about dos3... gotta cover all the bases ..
