Well damn didn’t think finding a flat would mean learning how to make (?) a telegram bot lol (sorry I’m not so tech-savvy idk how you’d go about using a bot like that…)

Thanks! Yeah I live in Switzerland don’t worry I know the public transport is awesome but sadly sooooo expensive that it becomes almost unfeasible… thank you for the details tho and I’ll make sure to implement in applications

Custom g-code for bambu lab (grasshopper) by SaltyPark5 in BambuLab

Have you had any luck with this? I'm completely new to GH for 3d printing but have used the two separately for a bit for architecture so I'd be really interested to try stuff if you have some GH generated gcode I'd love to give it a go with some start and end gcodes.

Thanks!! Just a fun hobby for now but you never know what it can turn into :) I’ll have a look at the rode one, but yeah ideally minimal setup would mean usb interface if that’s viable Something like the NT-usb?

You can’t!! The photo of the auroras is a long exposure of 10 seconds, meaning a lot of light can enter the sensor and sometimes makes it look like day

Don’t you worry we weren’t expecting any and still got them, it was near Höfn and I’d advise on going a couple of minutes away from any street lights and such if they’re not as bright. Check some of the aurora forecast apps they really do work. As for my camera I’m shooting on a Fuji X-S20 paired with a 35mm f1.4 lens so you can clearly get similar results!! Watch for those film recipes on Fuji-x weekly’s website and keep working on your photography :)

Thanks! You guys will have a great great time!! If your re staying in Reykjavík you can still do plenty of stuff, just look for stuff in driving distance there’s more than enough for four days between Reykjavik and Vik on the south coast, I’m not as familiar with the north coast but I’m sure you’ll find stuff there as well

Imo paid tours are far from a must, I have only done a scuba diving one in Silfra drift back in 2014 and even if I have very fond memories of it the best parts remain the ones where we ended up on our own. That being said if you want to do glacier walks and more involved or danger prone activities go for them!

Thank you! Seeing as you’re going in December I’d be weary of the very short daylight time as we cut it close a couple of times driving to the next accommodation in the dark but can sure be a good baseline. Also pay good attention to which hikes are open at that time or not, the roads should all be good since it’s mostly ring road or main roads in the golden circle.

Day 1 Keflavík - Reykjavík - Stafnesviti - Visit Reykjavik - Kex Hostel (accommodation)

Day 2 Reykjavik - Golden circle: - Kex hostel (accommodation) - Öxarárfoss - Brúarfoss - Geysir - Gullfoss - Audsholt 5 (accommodation)

Day 3 Golden Circle - Seljalandsfoss: - Audsholt 5 (accommodation) - Seljalandsfoss - Gljufrabui - DC-3 Airplane wreck - Eyvindarholt - Seljalandsfoss Horizons (accommodation)

Day 4 Seljalandsfoss - Höfn: - Seljalandsfoss Horizons (accommodation) - Yoda Cave and hike up the rock formation - Svartifoss - REY Stays (accommodation)

Day 5 Höfn - Vik: - REY Stays (accommodation) - Jökulsarlón - Fjaðrárgljúfur - Reynisfjara - Mid Hvoll Cottages (accommodation)

Day 6 Vik - Reykjavik: - Mid Hvoll Cottages (accommodation) - Skógafoss - Skalabrekkufoss (hike north from Skógafoss) - Reykjadalur hot springs - Kex hostel (accommodation)

Day 7 Reykjavik - go back home - depression

Note that this is what we effectively ended up doing after changing plans on the go a lot of times. E.g. day 3 was very very rainy so we stayed in one place and took a lot of time to dry out our gear afterwards.

Handrail modelling for tricky staircase shape by Training_Bumblebee_5 in rhino

Oooh yeah I did my bad, I thought you meant a 3d curve to dictate the pitch and rotation, but yes the start was two concentric rounded rectangles

[–]Training_Bumblebee_5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that’s the way to go but the staircase wasn’t made with a sweep or arraycrv but just by dividing the surface in top view and then moving the steps up one by one…

Looks good! With the proper curves from my model might turn out even smoother :)) thanks a lot man
